What Your Old Friend Needs From You??

Hi All,

How are you? Where are you?

I am fine doing well.

I would like to make it out one thing that:
We were friends!!! Oops!!! Are friends but were good friends in our college days or few days before. But what it is now?

Do we really know what others are doing right now? I mean to say do you know what and how your other friend is?

To be frank:
  • I really don’t know any thing about you right now
  • How are you? Where are you? What you are doing? :(

What we are doing; we try to avoid writing few lines to our friends. But we are not doing that we are loosing one of the friend who was one of the good friend in old days.

We meet lot of people in our day to day life. Out of which we make friendship with few of them. Friendship can be for an hour in any journey; for a day in any function; for a week in any training; for few months when we are in that city or company but only few friendships we keep for many years. Rest all get fade out in the careless ignorance of not contacting each other.

I will give you a simple example that I saw this week:
On Monday 25th Feb I was in Amt at home. Me and my mom went to gajanan Mandir to listen to “Kirtan” (A spiritual Speech) (quite strange me and listening KIRTAN) Sorry I went their because of LOAD SHEDING ;)

Me and my mom were sitting and enjoying the words of that person. A lady was sitting behind my mom with her Grand daughter. After 20 -30 mins my mom just looked at her. My Mom was quite surprised. She again & again turned back and looked at that lady.
I asked her “what are looking mom?”.
My Mom said “Don’t know but it seems to be that I know that lady”. But then my mom ignored that.

After some time we went to donate the money for prasad at donation counter. The same lady with her grand daughter was standing in front of us. She asked the person to make a receipt of Rs 151 in the Name of Mrs. Vimal Pachkawade.

My Mom suddenly burst into happiness and asked that woman “Excuse me, Are you Vimal from Bhatkuli (Name of My mom’s birth place)”?
She said “yes, but sorry I didn’t recollect you?”
Then my mom replied “Hey Dear I am your best friend in school days?”
She asked “Who”??
Mom said “PUSHPA?”

Then they both kept that KIRTAN aside and started talking about themselves. Their past memories and present life. I was realy getting bored by their talk but I think it was the great moment of their life to see their Best friend after so many years that too in a surprising way.

That was just an example I came across. But my moto was about the friendship that we make in these days. That’s what I want to say we make many friends in our life and the list of friends keep on changing year by year. Changes as we change our class (level of education); City by city; company by company; Due to busy education; workload, company change job location changes; family location change.

So what is our Good/Best friend need from us? It is Only 10 mins from 131040 Mins..

So I think we should take out at least 10 mins from the span of 3 months i.e 91 days i.e 2184 hours i.e. 131040 mins for at least one friend. Who was your good friend once upon a time and you have not contacted him from a long period. What else we need to keep in touch with our good/best friends.

Just 10 mins out of 131040 mins for your good/best friend once upon a time. If you are not able to take it out then do you think you were having good friendship with him?

I think we just need 2 mins to ask in mail? Hi how are you? How you are doing?

And 2 mins to reply I am fine doing well so and so...

Still we don’t ask or don’t reply... might be because you have other good friends right now but why you are forgetting the days that you have spent with that friendJ

So your good friend just needs your 10 mins from the time of 131040 mins. I think we never thought about that ever. So think over it and implement it in your life.

Thinking will not solve the problem implementation is what needed.

I hope the BIGGG mail might be boring for you!! But I had written it for the sake of my Good friends. I know I have ignored them many times due to laziness and they have also ignored me. But I have taken a initiative to keep in touch with my friends. If you feel so you can also start it from today.

SVARAJ: A True Friendship Lies Here!

It is the symbol of our Friendship and we will always keep it alive. This is our promise.

You Know SVARAJ stands for:

Tshering Bhutia
Sumit Deshpande
Snehal Porwal
Vaibhav Bhatkar
Yera Raina
Amit Bagade
Amruta Parnerkar
Rupesh Gaikwad
Ashish Taman
Jayesh Bhoyar

We have seen that two friends can live together in all cases but we have always tried to keep these 10 souls, 10 minds and 10 bodies into 1, i.e.

SVARAJ

I really don't remember the date but i can tell you one thing that the foundation of SVARAJ was took place during the beginning of our 7th Semester means in the mid of June 2004.

During our 8th Semester we spent lot of our time together having fun all the time.We spent most of our time on Amit's room in Camp.

Every Day we do just the work of one hour during our meet of 6 hours. One thing was common for everyday i.e. Snacks means Kachori, Samosa and Other. The most important part of these six hours was the rubbish chatting; which everyone used to get bored except SVARAJ. No one can bear SVARAJ. this was truly spoken by Shekhar(our college mate).

Many times we fought with professors for the discrepancies that we used to have with them. and enjoyed all those small stuffs.

Talking more about SVARAJ; All members are right now very well settled in their carrier.

Tshering: Gangtok, Sikkim

Sumit : Terra Soft, Mumbai

Snehal: Westborough, Massachusetts

Vaibhav: Starcom, Mumbai

Yera: Ghaziabad, India

Amit: Doing MBA in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom .....

Amruta: TechMahindra, Pune

Rupesh: BMC, Pune

Ashish: Bitwise, Pune

Jayesh: Persistent Pune.

I think we will never break-up this friendship, though we will break apart from each other for our carrier.

GOD knows what will happen in future!

Thanks to everybody that they accepted me to be the part of "SVARAJ".
